An expert on Biochemistry
Hello again!!, In this day I will talk about an expert in Biochemistry: Ramon Latorre.
Ramon Latorre was born in October 29, 1941
He studied in the Jose Victorino Lastarria High School. Subsequently, in 1965 he received a Biochemist in the School of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Chile.
In 1969 he received a doctorate in Sciences with a mention in Biology at the University of Chile, being one of the first students of this career.
His most important research work was the discovery of ion channels in cell membranes in muscle cells, which allow the entry and exit of ions of the cell, giving greater emphasis to the membranes that regulate the entry of Calcium.
In addition, to making an important discovery, it has generated a great international recognition, even was awarded the National Prize for Natural Sciences in 2002.
What I like most about the work he does in the field of Biochemistry is the important contribution that his work gives, because thanks to these research, it is possible to better understand how an organism as small as the cell, allows us to perform Our daily activities without major difficulties, besides keeping us alive.

This is very interesting, food engineers are so bored:(
ResponderEliminarHe must be very important, I support the comment from above, they are so boring
ResponderEliminarIt's a little sad to see again that the international recognition arrived before than the national recognition :/
ResponderEliminarhow amazing, besides from U de Chile, our University
ResponderEliminarSo nice! You chose someone that studied at this university, tour classmate Cristóbal alzó talked about someone that studied at this Uní and I saw that you left a comment On his blog
